Join us at Bloomfield Garden Centre (Greentree Village) for an unforgettable Forage to Farm to Table Experience. First enjoy a plant walk led by Melanie Isles of Full Bloom Herbals as we explore and identify wild edibles that may even grow in your own backyard! From Fireweed to pennycress, there’s a whole world of plants to discover. Then its into the greenhouse with owners Tarance and Wendy to pick some vine ripened tomatoes, and finishing up with a delicious family-style meal by the team at Back to Good (Strathmore).
The menu includes some of the area’s best bounty like TK Ranch beef, local dairy, red fife wheat and honey, and all enjoyed with local craft beer or cold brew wild mint tea.
Join us on August 17th or 18th when more than 100 farms, ranches and ag-tourism operators open their gates and invite visitors to share in local stories, see on-farm demonstrations and purchase locally grown and produced products.
