Fire. Farm. Feast with Get Cooking Edmonton at Prairie Gardens

Come and celebrate the great outdoors with a magical afternoon and evening of cooking and dining at Prairie Gardens in collaboration with Get Cooking Edmonton! 5 course Farm to Table dinner.

Join us for welcome canapés followed by your farm tour with farmer Tam Andersen of Prairie Gardens and a 5-course meal in the greenhouse with chefs Kathryn, Elyse and Brooke from Get Cooking.

You’ll begin your night with welcome canapés, cooked with you over an open wood fire. Then you will join proprietor Tam Andersen for an exploratory farm tour. We’ll be serving a menu chosen to highlight the diversity of delicious produce, herbs and flowers grown on Tam’s farm, and cooking a lamb from the farm and other locally sourced seafood and meats as well.  And all of our dishes will be finished in front of you, on wood burning fires set up by the greenhouse entrance. Get Cooking will be inviting you to interact with us as we cook, this time over fire and on the farm, and to experience with us the joy of cooking local by our sides.

Event Fee:  $125 per person, plus GST.  Your Fee Includes:  Welcome canapés followed by your farm tour with Tam Andersen of Prairie Gardens and a 5-course meal in the greenhouse with Kathryn, Elyse and Brooke of Get Cooking.

A menu of optional wine pairings as well as a selection of wines, beers and our house Pimms Cocktail by the glass, can or bottle will be available for purchase on the night.

Join us on August 17th or 18th when more than 100 farms, ranches and ag-tourism operators open their gates and invite visitors to share in local stories, see on-farm demonstrations and purchase locally grown and produced products.
